When purchasing a fish tank it can be very hard to figure out which aquarium will work best for you and in the space needed which is why we list the sizes of our acrylic aquariums with the product. For saltwater fish, it should be between 73–82 ☏ (23–28 ☌).Acrylic Aquariums Direct goal is to make the costumers Aquarium purchase as simple and easy as possible. Check the temperature with a thermometer. In some cases, such as if you have corals in your tank, you may need to mix the salt to seawater concentration which is 35 g/L. In fish-only systems, you can shoot for a salinity of 30 grams per liter (g/L) as a baseline. In the morning, check the salinity with a refractometer, hygrometer, or salinity probe.Aerate the water while mixing in the salt. The rule of thumb is 1/2 cup of mix for every 1 gallon of water. Follow the instructions on how much to add based on how much water you are using. These tanks are often sold as part of a tank kit, which makes it easier for beginners as they don’t need to worry about what other equipment is needed. One-step salt mixes are available at pet stores. Whilst most beginners usually start with a 10 gallon tank, a 20 gallon aquarium is actually better suited for beginners. Heat the water with a specialized heater, purchased at a pet store.Place the water in a clean plastic bucket, preferably used only for this purpose.Buy distilled or reverse osmosis water from the grocery store. Start this process the night before you clean your tank. It's essential that the temperature, salinity, and pH of the water are all within an acceptable range for your fish. Add a freshwater aquarium buffer to the water to keep your tank stable. If the nitrates are astronomically high, you can do a water change with reverse osmosis water from your local fish store.Make sure that the water you refill the tank with is the same temperature as the water in the aquarium-a difference of more than 1 ☏ (−17 ☌) is very dangerous for your fish. Add the water conditioner and allow the water to sit overnight.

The most knowledgeable of prey weaknesses and the locations of their habitats. Oso tried to use them but broke them immediately. Actually learned to make tools for easier hunting. He’s the one who’s the most concerned about there being no other Nagas than his family around on their island (I imagine them living on a remote tropical island). His favorite is a single pink sock with a familiar cat idol on it. Unlike Kara, he stashes his belongings away from prying eyes. The Naga will collect anything remotely relating to the “strange, intelligent creatures with the two walking appendages”. He takes frequent baths to maintain his scales’ bright blue sheen. He specifically chose his territory to have a large body of water to admire his reflection in. Unfortunately, it just alerts them to his presence and he’s spent a half hour slithering around in circles singing until his throat is sore. He firmly believes that his singing can entrance his prey. Any cool accessories are made by this guy. Jyushimatsu tends to knock them off pretty easily and Kara has to gather them while his younger brother is shouting about his adventures. He discovers flower pressing and his tree is absolutely littered with them. You know how there’s bird species that decorate their nest to attract mates? I can imagine Kara doing that - taking whatever beautiful ornament or flower he can find. Whether it’s because he’s a rare mythical creature or the unsettling appearance of deep, predatory crimson eyes staring into your own sends a chill up your spine. If you were to stare into his eyes, you wouldn’t be able to look away. The likeliest to just beg his brothers to hunt for him if all else fails. Complete with tail thrashing and loud whining that rivals Jyushimatsu’s own voice in how far it can carry throughout the trees. Often times this results in him returning and finding his meal absolutely gone. He can’t eat without having a drink to enjoy so he’ll just… plop his catch right onto his nest and leave for god knows how long. He’ll just wait until he finds prey that’s already injured and then pounce once the opportunity presents itself. Some of these are probably uninspired or unoriginal, sorry. Here’s a couple of thoughts on the Naga Matsus that have been floating around in my head. You can undo/redo MixConsole parameter changes for an open project at any time. Furthermore, you can set up the input and output routing for multiple tracks or channels at the same time. It allows you to control level, pan, solo/mute status, etc. The MixConsole provides a common environment for producing mixes in stereo or surround. There are two types of markers: position markers and cycle markers. Markers are used to locate certain positions quickly. The transpose functions for audio and MIDI in Cubase allow you to change the pitches of audio and MIDI for playback without changing the actual MIDI notes or the audio. This way, you do not need to move, copy, and paste events in the Project window. Backblaze Pricing for Multiple DevicesĪlthough the plan offers unlimited backup, the same isn’t true for devices. You can save some money by signing up for a full year or two years, in which case, the service will run you $60 per year or $110 for two. However, you can’t keep unlimited backups because of the 30-day versioning limit.Ī Backblaze unlimited backup plan is cheap, too, with a monthly subscription providing unlimited storage for just $6 per month. No matter how much of your personal data you backup, you’ll never hit the Backblaze storage limit - it just doesn’t exist. It lets you backup an unlimited amount of data, regardless of how large your files are. Yes, Backblaze is really unlimited, at least in terms of backup storage. Save 22% Is Backblaze’s Backup Service Really Unlimited? Thankfully, you can extend that period to a year (for $2 per month) or forever (for a fixed per-gigabyte price). This is in stark contrast to most online backup services like SpiderOak One (read our SpiderOak One review), which lets you recover deleted and altered files with no expiration date. If these things are important to you, check out our IDrive review, as all these features come with that service.īy default, Backblaze only keeps previous versions of files for a maximum of 30 days. Thus, things like image-based, server and hybrid backups are all missing, and you can’t backup mobile devices, either. This might be attractive to some users, but it does leave the desktop client feeling remarkably sparse. Opting instead for an automated and streamlined experience, Backblaze focuses on backing up your computer with minimal effort required on your part. However, if you’re the kind of person who likes to fiddle with settings, head over to our list of the best online backup services for a look at some Backblaze alternatives.Īs mentioned in our introduction, Backblaze does not place a heavy emphasis on features. If a simple setup, unlimited storage and reasonable prices are important criteria for you, then keep reading. In this review, we’ll give you a detailed rundown of what Backblaze does well and where it falls short. On top of this, more advanced features, like disk image backup and mobile backup, are entirely absent. Although this does result in a service that’s easy to set up and get going, it also leaves quite a bit to be desired in terms of features and control.
9/14/2023 0 Comments Screenflow green screen problemIt seems logical that I’d place the playhead in the position where I want to record that bit and initiate the recording, and then the snippet would appear in the timeline, ready for me to edit. For instance, I might wish to add a bit of audio to my video after the fact. Then there are those operations that seem to take more steps than necessary. Other times I’ll hover my cursor over a video clip expecting to see the tools menu icon, where I can choose to add a transition, but it doesn’t always appear. The only way I’ve been able to correct the problem consistently is to save and close the project and then reopen it. I often use this preview for navigation, particularly when producing a screencast that has a long static image, which provides no clues about where I am in the project. After extolling its virtues, though, we’ll also agree that it can be quirky.įor example, when I’ve made cuts and moved clips around, the waveform preview in audio tracks can get confused-showing audio where there is none, or vice versa. And we’ll all report that it offers a fast way to put together great-looking videos. I’ve been using ScreenFlow for video projects for the better part of two years, as have many of my colleagues. With version 4, Telestream moves beyond basic capture, edit, and annotation features to make multiclip projects easier to edit as well as to provide tools for enhancing (or, at least, altering) the look of your clips. Not only can you split and trim audio and video, but you can also scale portions of clips (for zooming in on important parts of the screen), add reflection, add transitions to the beginning of clips and between them, adjust a clip’s speed, adjust color controls, add video filters, duck audio, add audio effects and filters, enlarge the cursor, show keystrokes, add callouts, annotate videos (with lines, arrows, and shapes), add titles and overlaid text, and record and import additional bits of audio and video. Audio, video, and screen-capture clips appear in a timeline at the bottom of the ScreenFlow window (if you record both audio and video from a camera, the two tracks will appear in a single clip, though you can extract the audio portion to a new track). Then, rather than having to import the results of your capture to a video-editing application, you can do much of your major editing directly within ScreenFlow. The program offers export templates, but you can export in any format that QuickTime supports, including H.264, MPEG-4, and Apple ProRes (if you have the ProRes plug-ins installed). At this point you put ScreenFlow’s editing tools to use in a timeline interface and, when you’re done, you export the edited video in one of a variety of formats. The ScreenFlow editor pops up immediately (no rendering needed at this stage), complete with your recording. When you’re finished, stop the recording with a hotkey or menu command. ScreenFlow then captures the Mac’s entire screen. (If you have multiple displays connected to your Mac, you can choose from which one to capture video.) Setting up your ScreenFlow recordingĬlick the Record button, and you see a countdown, which allows you time to clear your throat and organize your thoughts for the upcoming recording. Regardless of how you configure these settings, ScreenFlow will record the action on your Mac’s display. Your options include choosing whether to record live video through a camera built into your Mac or a compatible external camera, selecting an audio input (a Mac’s built-in microphone or an external microphone or audio interface), and deciding whether to record audio your computer produces. This multi cam interview part in Final Cut because that’s what it’s best at, but I export it to premiere because that’s what the client prefers I work in, but I’m going to do this complicated compositing in fusion inside resolve because it’s way better at that, etc.First you launch ScreenFlow and configure your recording. Sometimes I use two or all three on the same project. The differences between them may seem tiny to some, but for me there are times I want a certain tool to do this one little thing it’s especially good at. Heck I own and use Final Cut, premiere, and resolve. It’s not crazy to own two things that can do the same thing, when one thing is especially good at at the thing, and operates in a way you prefer. Some people they only ever buy a pipe wrench because it can do two things. Think of it this way: I can use a pipe wrench to open a bottle. It’s really good at screen recording, and a little good at editing. They’re more there as a feature to help sell the software. The editing controls inside screenflow are probably 1/8 as comprehensive as final cut’s. 9/13/2023 0 Comments Operation phantom fury mapA diversionary assault from the west and south began with the 36 th Iraqi Commando Battalion (with US Army Special Forces advisors), the 1 st Battalion, 9 th US Infantry, 2 nd Brigade Combat Team, and Company A, 2 nd Battalion, 72 nd Tank Battalion, elements of the 3 rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (Reinforced), and Combat Service Support Battalion 1. Navy SEAL and Marine Reconnaissance sniper teams provided reconnaissance and target marking along the city perimeter. Ground operations began on the night of 7 November 2004. The 1 st Battalion, Black Watch Regiment planned to support US troops along with D Squadron of the SAS, but British political concerns in the UK halted any involvement by British forces in the actual assault. Supporting elements included Iraqi security forces, coalition aircraft, and Special Operations Command snipers. RCT-1 was composed of the 3 rd Battalion, 1 st Marines, 3 rd Battalion, 5 th Marines, elements of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 23, and elements of the US 7 th Cavalry. Intelligence suggested that the city’s insurgents were vulnerable to direct attack. The total of coalition forces included 6,500 Marines, 1,500 US soldiers, 2,500 US Navy support personnel, 850 British forces, and around 2,000 Iraqi security forces.Īmerican combat forces were organized into two Regimental Combat Teams. Fallujah the battlefield was prepped by sustained airstrikes and artillery fires. Iraqi interpreters augmented American combat units. In the run-up to the commencement of combat operations, detailed imagery was obtained and used to prepare detailed maps of the city. One thing that does stand out, however, is that the leadership of these groups (wisely, albeit cowardly) removed themselves from Fallujah before the beginning of the Second Battle of Fallujah.Ĭoalition checkpoints were established to prevent anyone from entering the city, and to intercept insurgents attempting to flee. By November, these numbers doubled and included virtually every insurgent group in Iraq: al-Qaeda, Islamic Army of Iraq, Ansar al-Sunna, Army of Mohammed, Army of Mujahedeen, and the Secret Army of Iraq. None of the names of these groups is important because Islamists change their names as frequently as a mother changes her baby’s diapers. In April 2004, Fallujah was defended by about 1,500 Iraqi insurgents with around five-hundred of these being “hardcore” guerrilla fighters and the others “part-time” employees.
